Starting his love of playing music at the age of 12 when he first started playing drums, Nick started dabbling with audio and recording while in high school making demos with bands he was playing in. Since graduating Recording Arts Canada in 2010, Nick has focused on working with punk, hardcore and metal bands helping to create records that sound like a band playing together in a room, while still providing a big and angry sound.

In 2013 Nick opened School House Studios, an independently run recording studio located in Dundas, Ontario, just minutes from downtown Hamilton. Since then Nick has focused his time on working with mostly punk, hardcore and metal bands to help create a great sounding record that keeps the individuality, human element and sound of the band intact.
